In September 2022 our very own Dr. Kathy Ruddy and Colin Simon, PhD candidate, were nominated as finalists for the prestigious “Annual BCI Award for the world’s most innovative Brain-Computer Interface project” among 12 accomplished research groups in the field. Their work was selected from 100 research projects submitted in video format (see video below).
They presented their work at the BCI award ceremony in October 2022. Dr. Ruddy and Mr. Simon were awarded the privilege to contribute a chapter in the book “BCI State-of-the-Art” published by Springer.
We heartily congratulate the winners and want to thank the jury for awarding this honour.
